Campbell River Hospice Society

The Campbell River Hospice Society believes that all persons facing death have a right to:

  • Comfort - freedom from physical and emotional pain.
  • Peace - respect for spiritual and cultural values.
  • Dignity - respect for individual and social concerns.
  • And - those experiencing a loss due to death have the need and the right to grieve.

Therefore... the Campbell River Hospice Society exists to provide compassionate support and companionship to meet the needs of those individuals facing death, their families and friends and to those grieving a loss due to death.  We recognize the special needs of a person who has a life threatening illness.  The focus is not on curing them but on treating symptoms and making them comfortable.

Enter for a chance to win a Dinner for Two by completing our Hospice Survey

In order to best serve the residents of Campbell River and the North Island, it is vital for the Society to seek feedback from the public in order to access public awareness, the effectiveness of the services that we provide and any additional services areas that may exist in our community. To achieve this, the Hospice Society is conducting a short Public Survey over the next two weeks.

Please click on the attached link (Campbell River Hospice Society Survey) to complete our Survey before February 8, 2012 and we will enter your name in a draw to win a Dinner for Two at our upcoming Angel Rock Dinner & Dance on Saturday, May 5, 2012 (approximate value $90.00). One entry per person please. Also, please don’t forget to leave your contact information so that we may call you when you win!

Thank you for your support and assistance.
