Today we were fortunate to have Ruth and Ron Dittberner visit Hospice House for a tour of the space and a description of our programs and services.

The Dittberners expressed their gratitude for hospice services and provided a wonderful $10,000 donation in memory of their dear daughter Dana.

Board Member Leslie Palmer and Executive Director Lynn Wood were on hand to thank the Dittberners for their kindness and generosity.

Welcome to our Hospice

The Campbell River Hospice Society offers more services than what most individuals are aware of.   We are a registered society with non profit status and are accountable to our membership and community.  We are defined as a community hospice; as we do not have private free standing hospice beds for end of life care where residential hospices do.

Our Hospice offers support, information, and companionship to those living with an advancing illness,  their family and friends as well as those grieving the loss of a loved one. Hospice care is available to clients in their homes, our hospital,  residential care facilities in and surrounding Campbell River including Black Creek, Quadra and Cortes Island and north to Sayward.

Our Hospice services are offered by staff and by volunteers. Our Volunteers receive specific core training, ongoing education, and supervision in order to support our clients, their friends and family through the palliative and grief journeys.

We hope you are able to find what you are looking for, if you can't please don't hesitate to contact us.
